Clifford Wesley "Tacks" Latimer (November 30, 1877 in Loveland, Ohio – April 24, 1936 in Loveland) was a professional baseball player who played catcher from 1898–1902.
After his playing career ended Latimer became a police officer with the Pennsylvania Railroad. In 1924 he was involved in a dispute with another police officer and shot him four times in the back. He was eventually pardoned in 1930 for his heroism during a prison riot.
